different navigation fonts

Not a criticism, and not even a bug really, just a visual issue.
I clicked on a link by Jon to his images, and thought the navigation tab font looked larger. I opened the forum home page in another window and it was as I'd suspected.
It seems ike the forum home page is the only one to use the smaller font.
I prefer the larger font, as I run 1600x1200 res at work, but wondered if the size difference was planned or was it something to fix?

Do you know about using Ctrl + and Ctrl - to change font sizes? It works for Firefox, and I think IE 7 as well although I'm not sure about that.

Yes, it's a bug. I've tried to fix it too, but it will take more time. Chrysichthys suggestion is a good one too, but it doesn't fix the issue. Incidentaly, the new nav bar will work with the CTRL+/- feature - the old one didn't.
