Jools, you may know about this perhaps. Is it possible to do a 2-week holiday in Brazil with one of the main purposes in mind being to go on a tour of the rivers and collect corys? If so, is it possible to bring them back with you if they were kept temporarily with an exporter say?

Hi Xsu-Xsu!

Officially it is illegal for particuliar to take fish with them, several societies exhist that allow you to catch fish but I really don't know about the legality of you to take your fish with you...
Again officially it is also not allowed to bring the fish at an exportor and having him sending them to you, but it has been done by several people in the past , they will usually accept it if you buy a few fish from them as well...
Be careful with Brasil as these laws are very strict, you will probably have better chance to do so in Peru...
By the way Mod Cap on try to not to be off-topic...

Cheers
