EYE INFECTION UPDATE SYNO-NIGROMACULATUS

Post by syno-kev »

Well ,
i have tried a 2 week course of kanamycin antibiotic from the USA and then after a break a weeks course of myxazin and as you can see theres no effect ,
i also have a large syno-frontosa i bought from a dealer 2 months ago and he has a similar eye infection but on one eye only he was like this when i got him ,
as you can see the cloudyness is inside the eye in the centre pupil
is there anyone who has treated this illness in the uk with any success if so please tell me what to use !
just to add my water conditions are fine and regularly changed and tested and all of my other 17 syno members are A1 PERFECT

thanks

If it is cataracts it looks like it doesn't prevent him/her feeding well - it looks deep-bodied/well-fed indeed

Jacob: Yeah not with another fu**!ng guy!
Lou: It's still a three-way!

yes no problem with feeding ,its the tank boss and still chases the multipuncs around even with the bad eye sight !
i put it back into the malawi tank last night so unless someone knows a miracle cure for cataracts i wont be disturbing it again only im sure this is what it is

cheers
