Question about posting pictures
I took some photos of some local habitats, if anyone can advise me on how to post them in a thread...

Re: What is this forum for?
Shaun,
When you post a reply you'll see "upload attachment" on the left side under the reply box. This enables you to upload pictures straight from your computer instead of having to host them somewhere else. Have a go at that and see if it works for you. Don't forget to resize them first.

Re: What is this forum for?
If your pictures are already hosted, this is another possibility: http://www.planetcatfish.com/faq/index. ... 1&catid=25

Re: What is this forum for?
The pictures will not load onto PC unless they are downsized first. The same as if you are trying to email and the computer asks if you wish to downsize the photo. Can't get it to work.

Re: Question about posting pictures
I've split this discussion off as it was in the wrong place and miles off topic.

There are plenty of free hosting sites - I use PhotoBucket and it's more than enough for me.
Once you've uploaded, they supply the url for each image, which you can copy into your post here, making sure it starts and ends with the IMG and /IMG tags, so for example,
Code: Select all
