Trichomycterus chapmani or retropinnis?

Trichomycterus chapmani or retropinnis?

Hi all!

I`m from Ecuador and have acquired recently four trichomycteridae from a rivulet on Azuay-Guayas border, they are 3-5 inches long and very active, can someone confirm what is the species' Thanks!

Interesting looking fish. Can't really help with the ID - it does look pretty similar to - which is a pretty useless to know, as it's not a properly ID'd species. And there are some others that aren't that far off either, so I guess it's not that unusual a patterning.

This looks more like T. chapmani to me.
