Move pictures n O. bimaculatus to O. siluroides.

Post by MatsP »

From Silurus:
"All of the pictures currently in O. bimaculatus except for the upper b&w one and the one showing the stamp are of O. siluroides."

Edit: This does NOT include the three new pictures I'm just about to add - that fish was caught in India.

I'll take care of the synonyms of both species.
HH mailed me O. siluroides has just one.
O. bimaculatus should have some more.

I'm working on this... It's quite a few clicks to do each one...

I've moved them now correctly I think. Note to Mats however, the bug with the "mvoe existing image" function is still there - I have spent a couple of hours with it this afternoon and it is still eluding me / broken.

Not sure if this has been brought up before, but when trying to change the data sheet of O. bimaculatus I repeatedly get the following:

General Error
SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]
Unknown column 'synonym_original_desc16' in 'field list' [1054]
An SQL error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact the Board Administrator if this problem persists.

I am trying to change, add and delete some synonyms.

Btw: I think it would be just to also
- move the complete data sheet text from O.bimaculatus to O. siluroides
- change the caption of the b/w picture, as the "comparison" is no longer necessary given the fact that they are now 2 different species.

I'm pretty sure this is the SAME problem as "Can not submit data to Callichthys callichthys". [Or something similar], which is currently on the first page of the Bugs sections.

Yes, I agree with both. I will move the data sheet information (as appropriate). I can't change the caption as of right now (the tool to do that is not yet ready).

Aside for the synonym issue, is this now resolved?

There is still some data to transfer, by the look of things. I will try to do that by the weekend if not sooner.
