Does the Aquarium require a lot of care?

We recommend 25% of the water be changed approximately every couple of months...... Image

That bowl would probably house a beta nicely, not much else. Oh well, there are people with money who can't spend it fast enough.

abuse on goldies

Post by babydragon149 »

That's very sad. So many people abuse goldfish everyday. It makes me sick. I have goldfish right now, and they are in my 33 gallon. They are just babies at the moment. They'll be moving into my pond next summer when they are larger and can fend for themselves better. I wish people knew better than to house a goldfish (which is capable of growing over 2 feet) in a tiny 2 gallon fish bowl, where they will no doubt have health problems if they remain there much longer. Goldfish require lots of room to be healthy. I'm going to start a protest! HAHA!
150 gallon (planted)- 5 juvenile pterophyllum dumerilli, 4 juvenile corydoras barbatus, 2 10" sailfin plecostamus, 1 neon tetra, 1 male guppy, 1 female and 1 male betta splendens.
33 gallon- 7 butterfly comet goldfish, 4 snails.
