age of corys

I've got two corys ambiacus and just wondered how long they live. Ive got mine over 5 years now and they where fully grown when I bought them. They are starting to get a little pale I wondered if thats to do with age? they are definatly my favorit fish and the only ones that got names, Laurel and Hardy.

I have read here and there, some peolpe have kept several species for over 10 years!!!

Hi Conny Boon,

I've just started keeping them ... but from what I've read .... I came across somewhere that an aquarist had his/ hers for 37 yrs!

I have had some species of Cory's for twelve years and have known of some living past fifteen years.
