Is this Pseudomystus / Leiocassis / Bagrichthys or Bagroides
Hi all, i'm so confuse to identify this fish. my friend in java island tell me that fish is can be Pseudomystus stenomus
or Leiocassis poecilopterus or Bagrichthys hypselopterus or Pseudomystus fuscus or Bagroides melapterus. Help me, which name is correct?

this fish i catch 1 years ago in mahakam rivers, in east borneo / kalimantan province. are u sure this Bagrichthys macracanthus? cause that colour is different.

If this came from the Mahakam, then it's not B. macracanthus, but B. vaillantii.

Identification is what this section of Planet Catfish is all about, so yes, go ahead and upload photos - give as much information as possible, including where it was caught. It is probably best to have one or two species per thread - it can get quite confusing when there is a long discussion and several different species of fish.
