Site Pseudacanthicus sp. "Peru"
Hi,
I read on this site http://www.planetcatfish.com/scripts/cl ... s+sp`peru` :
The catfish was imported from Peru, but the distribution is coastal drainages of the Guianas?!
Cheers

Re: Site Pseudacanthicus sp. "Peru"
That's probably a consequence of it being split up - it was originally called P. serratus - which indeed DOES come from Guyana. But someone figured out that the fish actually pictured did not match P. serratus (nor did it come from the right place). If you look in the forum next down "Resolved bugs...", you will find a recent thread on the subject of P. serratus.
I will try to fix it up.
Oh, and if you want to link to a Cat-eLog page within the forum, it's easier to use the clog-tags, eg:
which looks like this (when not in "code" tags):

And when Jools approves my changes to the text, it should be "right" (or "less wrong" at least).
If anyone knows which river these come from, I'd appreciate a comment....
Edit: Elko: Thanks for pointing this out - it's very easy to have a five-step process that you think you've finished, but only actually done four of the steps.
