Plecostomus compatibility???

Post by Sarajute »

I have a 40 gallon tank that houses a 5 inch Albino African Clawed Frog. Are they compatible with plecostomus? Could the plec hurt him? He is about 7 inches long...

As far as I understand, African Clawed Frogs don't go well with any other aquatic animals - but I guess a large Loricarid would be the least unsuitable - whether that is ENOUGH, I can't say.

The genus Plecostomus is no longer in use - most likely, you have a common pleco, , but the genus Plecostomus is nowadays .
