Saw this and couldn't resist, labelled as L040 but I can't ID it, thought i'd come to the experts.

L040 is also Harttia surinamensis - there is no picture in the Cat-eLog [and that probably tells us something in itself - it's not common!], but there are other species listed in the Cat-eLog, and there are at least some pictures for those.
Fish from Surinam is relly not common.
Are you sure it's not supposed to be aka L048?
However, I think it looks more like a or one of the near relatives of this fish. However, it can be hard to say for sure.
I'm absolutely certain it is NOT L040 based on body shape.
Edit: We could use a clear close-up shot of the mouth and sucker-disc - that should make clear if it's a Hypancistrus or Scobinancistrus.

I will try to get a picture of its mouth, might take a while though he's being shy atm. And thanks for the reply.
