Aspidoras ? Albater

Post by Aquafinatic »

I have recently purchased some Aspidoras Albater.

Could anyone tell me why I see the label "Aspidoras Albater" in some places, and
the label "Aspidoras cf Albater" in others? What is that "cf" all about?

I must have fallen asleep in Freshman Biology class... :foggie:
Aspidoras c.f. Albater (and progeny) / Brochus Splendens / Corydoras Pygmaeus / Corydoras Aeneus (albino) / Ancistrus sp. L144 (gold & red calico & peppermint & long fin and progeny) / Syndontis (unknown types x 3)

cf.: literally means "confer." An animal appears similar to an identified species, but without certainty or confirmation.
