Cat for a 126G
Im hopefully getting a 126G and was wondering what catfish would work. I really like lima shovelnose would they be ok in a tank 48"x22x28?
the stocking im thinking so far is
1 gold sev or 2/3 rotkeil sevs
1 chocolate cichlid
10 rainbows
5 geos
1 Bichirs
Pair of t bar cichlids
Are there any other cats that would work?

Re: Cat for a 126G
As sorubim get to 18" TL i would keep a group of them in a 72x36" footprint & really nothing smaller which meets the 4L x 2L guide where L is the max length of the adult fish.
I think that size tank would be overstocked with the fish you mention (obviously based on adult sizes)
2/3 rotkeil sevs 20-30"
1 chocolate c*****d 10"
10 rainbows 30"
5 geos 25"
1 Bichirs 10"
Pair of t bar c*****ds ??? 10"
Total estimate 105-115" of fish & the tank supports 105" max - t bars & geos estimated @ 5" each & if bigger, then even more overstocked...no room for a catfish...
