Hi!

Very funny...i bought this little guy from a tank that had A.pectinifrons in there...guess smb couldnt diferentiate between a Lori and a dorad...:) It left their shop for 5 euro...
My guess is L201 Hypancistrus inspector but im not very fond of Hypancistrus spp.

yep lloks like an inspector or an scobinancistrus
Too many gorgeous loricariids
So hard to obtain! Grrr....

hmm the little guy is very restless...hope he will make it through the next days...his eyes and belly look very fine though...no signs of illness

Hi!

Yes it is an Hypancistrus!

And it could be an inspector!
But due to the rather good number of Hypancistrus species showing a black background coloration and white/yellow spot... I shall say it is a bit early to be able to be sure 100% it is Hypancistrus inspector!
It could well turn out to be L4/5 L28 L73 L201 L339 L158 L136...and I might forget some..

Hi!

The little snowball survived the night and looks much better today. i also added a 400 l/h pump to the quarantine tank and hes sitting in the current breathing normal.

Think its a great pickup for 5 euro...
