Ancistrus sp Sao Paolo

Post by TalenT »

The LFS had some young ancistrus with that name, plain darkgrey to black body, at least one of them had a very distinct lateral line. Dark, half-opaque fins with a weak dotted/marbled pattern. Bright white tips on both caudal and dorsal fin (almost a white edge) They werent big enough too spot any male/female differences (4-6cm). And as always the shopowner dont know anything about them, other than the name.

Any ideas/info/pics?

Maybe this one?
Still cannot figure out what it is, though.
