Should "no longer kept" fishes be listed in "my aquaria"?

Post by MatsP »

When I was "removing" my fish that I no longer have, I found that they are still listed under their "old home" in the "my aquaria". I think the list really should reflect the current occupants, not "past and present" occupants of that tank.

[Again, I think I have reported this previously].

Yes, I plan to do that.

Also, the my cats species list will have an option to show only those currently being kept, all, all no longer being kept and those that are unassigned to an aquarium.

And the my cats link to the right of each post will have (i:x and k:y) where x are the number of images you've uploaded and y is the number of species you are currently keeping.

That's a good idea. I was just thinking that earlier.

BTW, I hope you are not removing them rather that you are inputting a stop date?

Sure, no. Just "removing" as in "no longer keeping". And due to the reported problem in this thread, I'm also "unsetting" the tank they were in.

Each "My Cats" list now defaults to species currently being kept. It also has options to list species no longer kept, species not assigned to aquaria, species without images or species not touched in over six months.

Species no longer kept now do not appear in the "My Aquaria" species list.

Next up, what do you do you've added a species, entered some data about it and then find out it's the wrong species? I new feature is needed!
