Can i mix L260-L134-L114

Post by juventus »

I´ve got a tank og 180 liters with a trio of L260 where the couple spawns now and then, a trio of L134 that needs a litle bit more growing to start spawning and 9 Cory Sterbais. I´m preety happy with my mixture and they go well together.

But now is the question. I´ve gotten the possibility of bying a 15 cmer L114 with beautiful colors, and I wonder if it can coexist with the rest of the plecs without any big figths?

I have an uppgraded Juwel filter and Fluval 4 filter, so that should´nt be a problem since i change the water a minimum of 1 a week.

Thank you for your opinions!

Pseudacanthicus can be a bit agressive. But if there is enough space and enough caves, and you keep an eye out, it's PROBABLY ok.

Hello

Well in a tank which is big enough for L114 it might work. As long as the smaller plecos don't use the pseudacanthicus cave once he gets home :d

But 180 litre is too small for a pseudacanthicus!!! Even with 15cm it's too small and that pleco gets 20cm in a year with good feeding and also becomes 30cm quite fast!!

Cheers Simon

I've tried it .... not with 114's but with 25's .....didn't work out. The Pseudacanthicus killed the others.

I wouldn't keep shy hypancistrus together with more "agressive" fish.
Every great achievement begins with a dream ;-)
