Corydoras simulatus variante or sp C16?

Corydoras simulatus variante or sp C16?

Hi guys,

Got 4 of these recently.

According to Aqualog, it could be either Corydoras simulatus VARIANTE (Aqualog No. S19983-4) or Corydoras sp. C16 (Aqualog NO. S20416-4). All listed in page 78.

Any one as any ideas or comments?

The band in C. simutatus is confimed to the ridge of the back, and does not cross the sides. The true C simulatus is not often seen in the hobby and there will be more information about this to follow at a later date.

C16 is a species that can only be described as a long nosed C. melini, in fact there are several that could fall into this catagory.
