My Aquaria, Live foods doesn't work?

Post by MatsP »

Seems like I can't say "live foods" of any sort when it comes to feeding.

Edit: It seems like any "free-form" entry is what goes wrong.

Mats
I'd had problems a while back (see http://www.planetcatfish.com/forum/view ... =3&t=24426) - looks like it's work in progress.

Sorry, I didn't remember that one, and Jools specifically asked me to report any problems with moving fish & tanks around. [Like there was a need to ASK!]

I've just tested this (added frozen lobster eggs) and it worked fine. I do know there is a problem here from the data on the database. Can you try playing around with this? It's the second last thing I need to fix before "my breeders" goes live.

Cheers,

Frozen seems to work fine, but Live food doesn't seem to have a choice of food to add - it says "Enter another" in a field, but there is no "other" too choose from.

I tried updating the photo on My cats - I can't see that thread tho'???

OK, data error, you can now add live foods.

I can't - or at least I can't add it along with the Frozen Daphnia that I already have added... It did, however, figure out that "Bloodworm" is another live food, when I entered that... So that part is working.

1. Select "Edit" next to aquarium.
2. At the bottomg of page, select "Live" as food category.
3. Select "Bloodworm" from the type of food.
4. Select "Occaisionally" [1]
5. Click "Update and continue".
6. A page comes up showing the tank data summary, but only showing the Frozen Daphnia.

[1] This is misspelled, should be "Occasionally"...

It appears in some circumstances connected with how you use the dropdowns or what you select to work, and others not.

It's been a long day, but I think I've nailed this. Off to get some sleep now and will integrate it into the "My Blog" pages soon. Meantime, I note there are duplicates in the auto suggest options and I will fix that soonest too. Shouldn't be too hard!
