C. orcesi Eggs
Greetings. Found 60+ C. orcesi eggs, this morning. Nothing out of the ordinary was employed to encourage spawning. Spotted a very plump female in the group, yesterday - and eggs, this morning.
Wish me luck. lol. - Frank

Re: C. orcesi Eggs
I have unidentified fry in a mixed egg tank that can only be from this spawn. Not one that I have seen in my tanks, before, so I am almost certain it is these. Time will tell, though.
Quite rambunctious, hurtling around the tank at Cory light-speed. They never pause where visible, so pics are a bit, away, still.
Also, in an older mixed fry tank, I have spotted more fry that I do not recognize. From color and shape I would suspect that these may be a few C065's. Just don't know what else they could be. A long awaited addition to my group. C065's - one, absolutely spectacular fish. Thanks, Ian.
Cheers. - Frank

Looking for an update Frank!! If you don't have pics, words will do! I was very excited to see the fry when I was there... but even more anxious to find out what they are!
btw... everyone made the trip home in perfect health (lol... only 2 hours!!) All are doing happily in their new tanks, and the endlers are clowning around, might have babies in the near future! Thank you again for those, but also the lovely cories.

Hi. Well, the fry are still unrecognizable, to me - so I'm hoping they are these. Another week or so should be sufficient time to know for sure. OK. I am now able to discern some fry that I have never seen, before. A few more days and they should photo ready. Additionally, they have spawned twice more since these fry were born. They, too, have gone into a mixed egg/fry tank with a good hatch rate and almost zero losses, so there might be a few more on the way. As always - fingers crossed. Cheers. - Frank
