Eutropiichthys vacha
Based on where Jean-Francois normally fishes, I'd say the photo in the Cat-eLog of is actually that of E. burmannicus.
Would it be possible to check, Jools?

Re: Eutropiichthys vacha
It would appear that we're actually having E. burmannicus as a synonym (spelled as E. burmanicus - but I expect that is a typo).
I don't know if this is a consequence of using out of date information [perhaps current at the time of adding the species], or a mistake. Bot CoF and Fishbase agree that these are two different species.
So, I would propose the following:
1. Jools checks the assumption of where it's been caught.
If the above shows that it's E. burmannicus:
2. We ADD a new species of E. burmannicus, and keep E. vacha, as it has some good data in the datasheet.
3. Remove E. buarmanicus from the synonyms of this E. vacha.
4. Move the photo from E. vacha to E. burmanicus.
5. Fill in info on E. vacha.
6. Update occurrence table of E. vacha (Irrawaddy and Lower Salween)

Re: Eutropiichthys vacha
FWIW, I have a photo of a pile of E. vacha in a market taken during the 2004 India trip (with Jools).

Re: Eutropiichthys vacha
That would mean that we don't have to have an empty E. vacha entry... We still have to determine the ID of the current photo.

Thanks Mats, I am sure HH will furnish the pic and if not you can ask him when you meet!
