It is this trichomycterid here.

The exclamation mark in your title amused me slightly.

Given that probably little more than half of Brazil's fishes have been described, it's not a huge shock to see a new catfish.

Having said that, every new description should indeed be celebrated :-BD

o I know but I pass out every time there is a new one the other day there was rinelericaria heteroptera I think and rhynchodoras xingu. I almost died a new doridae and loracriidae in one day. I wore my fish hat to school. :d

I hope I spelled everything right spelling not my strong

im even happier now cause I was able to ID the family as trichomycteridae glad to know im getting better at this. you guys help a lot just reading your posts is awesome ^:)^
