Brachyplatystoma Flavicans
Hello all.
Anyone have any info on this fish?
Potential size? Husbandry etc etc?
Cannot find any reference to it within the Catelog but think it may be the same Fish as B.Filamentosum (Piraiba?)

Re: Brachyplatystoma Flavicans
Not another dam synonym of Zungaro Zungaro
Could be Pseudopimlodus Bufonis Or P.Lutkeni under that general /local synonym
The images I can find seem to be of Brachyplatystoma species

Re: Brachyplatystoma Flavicans
Usually B.flavicans = p.lutkeni=zungaro zungaro(valid name) seen them labeled as all three names before so z.zungaro is most likely.
have a couple at my lfs here now but size put me off.

Re: Brachyplatystoma Flavicans
Z. zungaro does have 11 different synonyms, and unfortunately, not everyone is as quick at picking up on name changes as this web-site.
