Registered with ImageShack?
Is the PC domain name registered with ImageShack? I guess not, because I'm seeing a lot of frozen frogs.

No it's not, but I didn't think we had to be. I'm unfamiliar with the frozen frogs - can you point me to one?

It seems that for images hosted on ImageShack to be visible (when hotlinked), one must register the website (free of charge) with them. This appears to be a policy change implemented since February (you can google "ImageShack domain registration” to see a host of complaints).

Re: Registered with ImageShack?
Well, oddly, that topic shows all the images fine when I view it. Meantime, I've submitted the domain to imageshack.

Re: Registered with ImageShack?
It might have been my location, then.
From another website:
From another website:
Starting Feb 22, 2011 (?) ImageShack has been enforcing a new policy that requires Site Owners and those outside USA, Canada and the European Union to register to them in order to be able to view any images stored there. This amouts to effectively IP banning most of the World, and serving frozen frogs (see samples below), instead of the intended pictures, to those included in the ban.
In fact, however, the implementation of the ban was also sloppily implemented, in that, most of the time, the "unregistered domain" frozen frog is served, even when the "country requires logging in" frozen frog should have been served, thus adding a confusing element as to why the intended image was not served.
