My new Loricariichthys pics

Post by Marcos Montes »

Hi all, here's my new Loricariichthys anus. I thought you might all like to see pics of this species that is not so common in the hobby. It's an adult I bought a couple of days ago, wild, here in Argentina (near La Plata). It's quite long, 250mm. It's very slowly getting used to his new aquarium (100lts) and sucking the log, haha.

Very nice! Do you know where it came from specifically?

I know for sure it came from the province of Buenos Aires, but not much more than that, for sellers won't reveal their sources...

Understandable, it often like that with commercial collectors.

We don't have good pictures of this species. If you are interested in me adding them to the site, drop me a pm.

Cheers

Jools
