odd message during My Cats image upload

Keep getting this message

Your uploaded image must be in JPEG format.
Other file types are not allowed.
It appears you tried to upload an file type of P.

Are you still looking at this? I have a few concerns around the validate_image_upload function in common - the second variable ($file_data) it is passed appears mismatched and also I am not certain of the reason for passing the argument by reference? I've made a change around this an committed to the repo for your review?

This _might_ be due to a failed upload at the network level - but I don't think so. Can you retry now the new code is in place?

Yup. Also, just uploaded a "My Aquaria" image and it worked fine.
