Request confirmation of L260 (or ?)
Hello - I have what I believe is a L260 male that I got several years ago at a LFS here in Indiana. He's about 3 1/4" nose-to-tail tip. Below are two pictures of him, taken these past couple days. The flash on my camera made one of the pictures look yellowish.
So is this a true L260? I know they can be confused with similar like the L411. Thank you for the help.

For me it also looks like a real L260
- and yes, it is a male.

Hi,
nice male of l260. Getting females of this variant will be really hard. They are rare, even among captive breed fishes.

Definitely a male L260.pleco22 wrote:Hi,

My breeding group is not very productive but I have reached the point where my F1 gen of L260 has begun producing an F2 gen of L260.

Thank you for the replies, and for the confirmations! Yep, finding a female will be tough, so may settle with growing out some juvies to hope for a female - and that's fine. Glad to know my guy really is a L260, though. All part of the due diligence to avoid hybrids or mislabeling things!
