Would this piece of wood be good?
Hi,
Am continuing my Amazon theme for my Jaguar tank and would love to put a branch of wood in there as I feel it looks much more natural. Would the piece of wood in this picture be suitable?
I have looked for some time for similar to this and finally found it, just curious if it would be safe enough with the Jaguars (given its obvious pointy bits).
Many thanks

Any chance of a picture that is bigger than a stamp? ;)

Yes, looks fine to me too. Just be aware, that type of wood will go 'mouldy' under water initially and most likely won't sink for a few days to a week - just soak it, initially in hot water then keep it soaking until it sinks.

Have you thought about positioning the wood vertically to hide the filter pipes?
