hey again everybody i was just wondering how truly rare an ornate pim actualy is? is it HOLY COW THATS RARE? or is it a oh thats a cool fish its kind of rare! ive been wondering that since the day i got the cute little bugger! so if you could enlighten me that would be great!

They're not very rare. Your store would probably be able to special order one in for you, depending on the season.

They are not what I would call rare. Scarce, perhaps, would be a better word.

Your average "mom and pop" petstore won't be selling them, but a serious aquatic retailer will get them in from time to time.

There are 17 registered keepers on PC.

They are not rare at all. I see them quite frequently in shops here in the northeast US.

I've seen them once in 2 years (and bought; Shark Aquarium, Hillside NJ). Western NY LFSs were my specialty. Been to LFSs in NJ, CT, NC, FL, Toronto, etc.
