Cat-elog photo used by Aquabid seller
This company is using a photo I took that is in the Cat-elog on Aquabid.
Do I need to contact them or does PC since they clearly lifted it from PC? It even says Planetcatfish on the photo.

Re: Cat-elog photo used by Aquabid seller
I would write to the seller, using your PC e-mail address, and say something along the lines of "You are using a photo without permission - the right to use it belongs to PlanetCatfish". You may want to add that you are the photographer, and that if you don't hear within 24 hours, you will report the seller to Aquabid.
(I very much dislike when people are selling fish using PC pictures - if they want to sell fish, how hard is it to take pictures of the fish actually for sale?)

It's stealing, and people who knowingly do it are scumbags. I also dislike sites that that do not promptly react to copyright theft. eBay are pretty good with this kind of thing. I have yet to find a site that won't remove them, but let me know if you run into any difficulties.

Mmm, that's not exactly the correct legal position. But, for summarys sake, the are the same entity. It's all in the T&C's if you wish to read them.MatsP wrote:Yes, because AquaticRepublic belongs to the same "organisation" as PC.The.Dark.One wrote:aquaticrepublic also seem t use all PC images. Anyway, who's to say it's not AR images used on Planet?
