Any avid fisherman present?

Post by bigamefish »

Hey again guys and gals! I was just curious about if anyone shares my extreme passion of fishing!
My cat addiction was born from my addiction to fishing to be more specific channel cats! Or as most of you know them as Ictalurus punctatus !  I also fish for the ever majestic esox lucius or northern pike! I am looking forward to another good summer of fishing! If you want to see my personal best channel cat just take a look at my post on what I look like! I am so far the last post! So if you are a fisherman let me know! And share stories and what you fish for and all that good stuff! I'm interested!

In my family, fishing is primarily an excuse for the boys to hang out. I will retiring soon and plan on learning to flyfish for panfish and smallmouth. Fun and good stress relief.

every day my best friend and i have off in the summer is spent fishing. i live on a damn, we get 1 and 2 pound sunfish in the early season, bass in the middle and crappie in the end. in the middle of the season we also take a trip up to NY to slam pike and lake troute. last year we tipped our canou over and lost 3 grand worth of gear.

I fish as much as possible and have for many years. It got to the point where a friend of mine asked me to run his fishing store while he would go on vacation or take a day off. While working, I would have a pole hanging out the back window! I have had a passion for fish and fishing as long as I can remember. It used to be common with me to wake before dawn and trot off to watch the sunrise and fish. As a child or as an adult I had a natural internal clock that would wake me. Now days due to being disabled, I still fish but am reliant on others to take me. I doubt that I will ever lose my love of fish, fishing and all things aquatic.

Nice to see a couple people share my passion for fishing! I am itching for the stupid snow to melt so I can get on the river! I hate winter
