Hi, I found some L-104 locally and got four of them. I have them in a 40 us gal (36inx18inx18in). How many would be OK in a tank this size for breeding? The only other fish in the tank are six Cory cats and 14 neon tetras. I also have plenty of driftwood and 8 caves. For filtration I have an Emperor 400 HOB filter and an Eheim 2236 canister filter. Here is a picture of the four I have now if anyone could give me an idea of sex they are about 2.5-3 inches(I know the pictures are not the best).
Thanks,Matt

Re: New L-104
IMO, you could but a dozen in a tank that size, or even more....but use caution, these are aggressive and territorial towards their own kind and there will be plenty of fights over food and caves...as far as sexing, it looks like 2 of each to me, but might be a little young yet...I have 12 breeder porto de maz in a30 long ( 36 x 12 x 16 high ) with no problems......ENJOY

OK, I got two more, because that is all they had.I will probably get two more if they get them in again. I have not seen any fighting yet, but then again I have not seen them out yet either.
Thanks,Matt
