Main template for page is slightly messed up

Hi,
The main template background is all messed up, buttons have no boarders, and all sorts of stuff, that looks like it is behind the actual page.
From top left, it is a series of years counting down from 2011 - 1996? And then some other stuff all in the left hand column etc.
On my iPad, was ok at work on ie a few hours ago.
I'm assuming that there is some maintenance happening?

It's a krazy caching issue (try saying that fast)! So, yesterday I moved all the stylesheet information into one place. If your cached version of the page is trying to find certain style files related to the tabular menu and doesn't find them ('cos I moved 'em!), then you will see lots of nav menu items all over, but behind the page.

A good old fashioned shift+F5 will sort this on most PCs however I've no idea how to do that on an iOS device. Dare I say, switch it off and on?

I suspect you've got something locally set different - I am confident it's a caching issue - let's see if we can't figure it out. What browser are you using and can you manually clear out the cache?

Ctrl+F5 did the trick, on IE.

on the iOS device I think the little 3/4 circle thing at the end of the URL / address bar does the business, but I don't have wireless access at work to test that one.

I just checked it on a computer I've not used for a few days and the cache cleare fixed the issue HOWEVER you need to do it for all pages that show the error or just clear the whole cache in one go.

Apparently simply refreshing the page did the trick yesterday.
Today the problem didnt show

OK, so I am sitting in not very happy land!!!!!

Turns out there is a bug with iOS 5.xxx and clearing the cache in safari (at least)
it says its cleared the cache, and all the cookies go because you need to log into all the sites that you told to remember you.

BUT the cache is not actually removed.

I mean who actually thought that clearing the cache and stuff actually made things "go away", the forensic folks will still be able to find it.

Never mind.
I'm sure that Jools uses the content expiry flags on the servers so all I need to do is wait for the content to expire and then "hey presto" new cache and it will all work again.

Indeed, and actually that's what made Marc's computer resolve itself. BTW, working on my iPad...
