i have a a tricolor cat but i can not find anything about it i need to know the real name for it the latin name and i need to know so info on it

I dont have a cam but i can tell you what it looks like. They have white bellys and as you start to move up the side it terns gray and as you move up more it start to tern black, thats why they call it a tricolor catfish, mine is about 2" long but I think they can get to like a foot. Thats all i know sry, I hope you guys know more about it then i do lol

Lots of catfish have a color pattern like that. It might be a little more helpful if you could describe its shape. Maybe relative to say, a bullhead. Does it have spines/bony plates on the sides of the body? Thangs like that...

i might be able to get a pic of the catfish if my friend will do it for me they have skin and look smooth they long and skinny

no its not a madtom and its white gray and black. i was just looking a couple of pic and it looks nothing like one lol ooo and one more thing most of them do this what happens is they like to show you the belly so they swim up and down the front of the tank with there bellys up aganst the glass
