Hi.
I'm Raviv Gal, 16 year old (not too long before im 17 though).

Don't have anything else to say really, apart from that im mainly into Asian catfish, love reading about catfish in the wild, and actually currently keep no catfish what so ever, but hope the situation will be changing soon enough.

Hi Raviv!

Welcome here...
Well the more you learn about them the more you want to keep some, the more you keep some the more you want to learn about them...
Cheers

Exactly. Vicious, vicious circle.
one thing that keeps me from hurrying up and getting catfish is the fact i can't keep them all. if i get one, i can't get the other.

Right now the tank that has plans changing for it every few days is my 75g.
once i can get catfish for it (will take a while), i'll probably just go for the idea i will have in my mind at the time it is made possible, provided it is a good one, so that i won't end up with an empty tank put there for the purpose of imaginating catfish set ups.
current plan (replacing the Clarias batrachus one), for anyone interested, is a Mystus mysticetus group, with possibly Rasbora trilineata .
Its probably gonna change in a few hours or days *grin*
Either that, or a day before the tank is vacant.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone :)

Rasbora trilineata is a bit small for a M. mysticetus group. You're going to be walking a fine line between the former being eaten by the latter and not. Pick something bigger, like R. cephalotaenia.

okay, thanks for the heads up.
If i can't keep them with the scissor tails, i'll probably just keep them alone.
