Problem viewing threads in Safari

I am experiencing some problems viewing the latest posts in the Taxonomy & Science forum in Safari.

The page loads, I get a brief flash of it correctly rendered, and then I get this:

I have no problems veiwing the page with Firefox, so this must be a browser-specific bug.

Strangely, all threads in the other forums load OK on Safari.

It looks like it's putting a large white image over the page. Perhaps the javascript for the hover of tag (there is one such link in that thread) didn't load correctly. Can you do a hard refresh of the page or view it "in-private" and report back please?

The problem goes away when private browsing is used.

OK, so I think the issue is local to your safari cache. Private browsing uses a separate cache that is destroyed after every session. I've tried it now on safari (on windows) and its fine on my machine.

Is there a way you can delete the cache and try again?

I deleted the cache, logged in again and the same problem occurred.

I then tried deleting the cache again after logging out and reading the thread while not logged in. This worked fine, but when I logged in again, the problem came back.

I think I have now fixed this once and for all tonight. AND removed the annoying horizontal scroll bar that appeared most of the time.

Can you confirm the former is A-OK?
