Hi, i currently have six adult Petricola in my 450 Litre Mbuna set up. To be honest the Petricola started off as just an afterthought addition to the tank. Initially i bought two 'dwarf petricola' that were in fact lucipinnis. I have since sourced six genuine adult W/C Petricola but now i am wanting to take them out of my Mbuna set up and give them their own tank. What size tank would suffice?
I have a 50 gallon 3ft tank available and a 2ft 70l tank available, the 3ft tank currently houses Brichardi (fairy cichlid) the 2fter is empty.
Can the Petricola be comfortable in the 2ft tank? Can they exist with the Brichardi? Just after some advice really.
Cheers.

Re: Petricola tank size
IMHO true petrica need a bigger tank than a 2foot, a 3 foot with plenty of rock work would work far better

Re: Petricola tank size
Yeah i was thinking the 2 footer would be too small, so best to swap the Brichardi into the 2 footer? Am i right in thinking that a breeding colony of Brichardi will attack Petricola as they would any other fish?
