Ancistrus violence
I have a small 3" Ancistrus.sp. who is a right little thug, he attacks Sailfin Pleco's twice his size and they run away.( As it were ) Question as the Ancistrus grows bigger will his aggression get worse.

Re: Ancistrus violence
How big is the tank? Are there adequate hiding places such as rocks, caves, slates, and other barriers? Aggressiveness is normal, especially if they are hungry, pairing, breeding, or fighting for hiding spots. Nevertheless, its just a matter of time before the big Sailfin claims his dominance over the smaller Ancistrus.
