Black Lancer cat problem.

Hi, I have one black lancer cat for 6month,but it has fungal infection constantly, my aquarium is decorated with bogwood,and sevaral hiding places. I have two butterfly fish, two chineese alge eater,two talking cat, one BGK, one up side-down cat, one gorami, one decorated squeaker, and one pictus cat. Plese give some suggestion.

I would lower the pH of the water, if possible. Black lancers thrive in close to blackwater environments (pH ~5, preferably tannin-stained) and it has always been my belief that fish living in low-pH waters are more prone to infections when kept in less acidic conditions.

The other thing you would want to do is to remove aggressive tankmates that directly or indirectly are causing the infection. The algae eaters are a prime suspect. I would move them to another tank if possible.

I agree, and in addition, I wouldn't keep it with a knifefish, talking cats or either unless it's a very large tank with a lot of hiding places and you don't mention tank size...
