Diagnosis on pygmy cory - red spots

Post by tealoctober »

Got 4 from my LFS on Monday, it's Friday now. The only one showing any distress is the one pictured, and fins have been clamped since I brought him home. The tip of the top/caudal fin of his tail is gone, don't know if nipped or what happened. He's also developed the two red spots today, one internal in his abdomen and one near the anus. Anyone have any idea what's wrong with this guy? If it's contagious, etc?

Tank is 5 gallon, cycled, planted, sponge filter with live plants, driftwood, and 2 nerite snails. Black diamond substrate. 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, 25 nitrate.
