Just bought this pretty little thing at an auction. Can anyone help me specify what it is?
What's this albino suckerfish? Normal ancistrus?

Do the tiny bristles along the upper lip indicate with certainty that this is a male (which would of course get larger as the fish matures), or do females also show small bristles along the upper lip?
Thanks, Eric

Females show bristles around the edge of the face, but only males grow bristles up the face - female bristles are not always evident & are always inferior to male bristles in size & quantity

Thanks Richard. That's what I thought, but I wasn't sure.
