L095 or who?

Hello.
I have been told to ask here about my catfish.

Around one year ago i bought this fellow i have put a picture up of.
I was told it was a L095. But it havent shown to look much like it.
So i hope people here will able to help.

Hi,

looks like an undescribed Pseudorinelepis exported from Manaus, which is therefore called P. sp. "Manaus", it's almost entirely brown. To be sure, you should compare with P. genibarbis, which is also brown, but with smaller black spots on it.

Had one like this before. Not L095 IMO. More like L152 perhaps?

I Think you are spot on about l152. I have compared ect and i think it is that one.

Hi,

it's not L 152, which should have orange tips on the lower and upper caudal hard ray. Furthermore the fish was labeled as L 95, that tells us it was exported from Brazil. L 152 have not been imported for quite a time, and if only in small numbers where people would have known what it is.
