Rarely seen catfishes from Sumatra
Recently one of my favorite fish shop sent me a notification message of two newly arrived catfishes from southern Sumatra. I was expecting some occasionally available catfishes like small bagrids & clarias, but then they sent photos & turned up to be better things.
This one listed as kekel (Javanese name for Glyptothorax platypogon) from supplier, we guess it's Glyptothorax platypogonides.

And this one... Listed as asian banjo (expecting Acrochordonichthys rugosus), actually more like Acrochordonichthys ischnosoma.

Hyalobagrus flavus available in small amount regularly, Pseudomystus heokhuii & Mystus bimaculatus available particularly during seasonal changes.
