Etymology of the species name for Trichomycterus dali

Post by lfinley58 »

Hi all.

From the original description: "The specific name (a noun in apposition) is an allusion to the Spanish artist Salvadore Dali, in reference to his famously long moustache (or whisker)."

Thanks Lee, added - I corrected the reference to Salvador Dalí - presumably just a little inaccuracy in the description.

Cheers,
