I feed my panaques three times a week potatoe slices but never have bothered to think why.I have learned that food source from books. Never have i seen any explanation for that. Does it have some good nutritions fish?

They certainly do not eat papas in the wild. It is a good foot because potatoes are a root (tuber) and about as close as you can get, besides yuca, to the exposed roots they feed on in the wild.

Do you cook them first or do you serve them fresh? Just wondering ´cause I´ve never heard that about potatoes and perhaps my little Panaque would like it.
