Any Goby guys here?

Post by Shovelnose »

I had collected these from a brackish water body in the east coast of India a couple of months back. Are these Redigobius bikolanus or a Mugilogobius sp?

Major: Now what's this... stone, stone, stone, (looks down at his hand) and scissors. Now. Scissors cut everything, don't they?
Sergeant: Not stone, sir.
Major: They're very good scissors!!

I don't know, but they are really unusual and I like them.

You should give gobies a shot Jools, really fun fish to keep but sadly ignored in the hobby. I have kept many native gobies in the past but I especially enjoyed keeping Omobranchus and Schismatogobius (I think S.ampluvinculus is available on a fairly regular basis these days) the most.

I don't think it's either, as the body shape doesn't seem right.
