HELP PLEASE!!! My Paroon shark has white spots all over thieir body

Hello I really need help on what to do. I've had my Paroon Sharks for only about a week and a half now and I started seeing these little white spots all over their body. Does anyone know what it is or what can I do??

This looks like ich. Please give us some more information about your tank and water parameters as noted in the sticky.

Looks like ich indeed. First thing to do is to test your water with a reliable test kit, e.g., liquid test API master kit, for ammonia and nitrite. Nitrate (as opposed to nitrite), pH, and temp are also good to know. Second, if the water is not good, then this is most likely the reason behind the parasitic outbreak. In pristine water and absence of any stress, fish most usually recover on their own, without medication or any special measures.

If the underlying reason is not found and corrected, medicating is a band aid.

If the outbreak is severe, a couple things can be tried - adding salt to about 2-3 teaspoons per gallon and raising the temp to 82-84 F or using Ridich or other similar medications based on a dye, such as Malachite Green or Methylene Blue and a form of formaldehyde. Ich should clear within a week but directions should be followed.

Guys can you help my Paroon Sharks always freak out when I go near them

Possibly the size of the tank, can you please give us some more info, as much as possible particularly about the tank, any other fish how many paroon sharks, and the tank size, I'm not personally familiar with these, but whether if its paroon sharks as opposed an iridescent sharks, a picture will help for an ID, they grow very big. Too big for normal tanks. But what little, i have read about them, is they can be very skittish in nature, rapidly and erratically swimming into tank walls, is this what you are trying to describe here? Hopefully someone that knows this fish well can assist you, but much further information in the meantime will help.
