Impossible to modify Profile

User Control Panel => Profile :
I want to enter in section Youtube : https://www.youtube.com/user/ebaquariopassion

But i have error message.
The field “YouTube” has invalid characters, only alphanumeric or _,-. characters are allowed and the first character must be alphabetic.

With
http://www.youtube.com/user/ebaquariopassion
youtube.com/user/ebaquariopassion

Again the same messages. I dont understand.

Hi Horlack,

For the YouTube entry, try typing in only your YouTube user name, not the entire URL. Maybe that will work?

The text of the forum should be more explicit. Currently, it is very misleading.

Maybe a forum fix ? (just change text)

Additionally, if you want, you can type your entire YouTube profile URL (http...) in your signature. That's what I did.

I guess it's the same as the half dozen or so other fields above it in that it's expected that one should type in a username. It would be bad practice to have a URL in here. It is not a very difficult change, but it would be lost everytime I upgrade the forum (about twice a year).

So I'm sort of inclined to leave it as is as most folks seem to understand this is for a username and not a URL.
