Re: A tiny interesting black catfish
Hi.
Really tough to see it against the dark gravel, is the fish yours or seen in a LFS? If in a LFS, what's it listed as? Any chance of more photos, but close up, or against a different background?
Thanks
Martin

Looks like a juvenile SE Asian bagrid?

Vicar: It's about this letter you sent me regarding my insurance claim.
Devious: Oh, yeah, well, you see, it's just that we're not, as yet, totally satisfied with the grounds of your claim.
Vicar: But it says something about filling my mouth in with cement.
Devious: Oh well, that's just insurance jargon, you know.

Re: A tiny interesting black catfish
We recently got about a dozen fish that look similar to this at my LFS, labelled as "Asian Red Tail Catfish" but they are this colour, leading me to believe they are actually .
I do not know if this fish is, however, as the forehead seems too elevated and I have not seen transparent fins on wyckii before - though I have never seen one this size.
Maybe @Silurus can help out.
